My (to me) extremely bold ro taisho komon kimono with fuchsia and black back-ground in a wood pattern, and big bold momiji leaves in contrasting aqua and white (creme)
I saw this kimono at morning last September in a Kyoto shop I didn't know yet, expensive! But good size and so bold... I loved it instantly, but did hesitate for a whole day. Then decided early evening to cycle back hoping it didn't sell yet, and she was still there!
Couldn't find a super obi that would do this kimono justise, but this soft purple/pink ro hakata seems ok, I added a aqua obi-age and fuchsia/black obi-jime wich is too small so I had to use obi-dome for a change ^_^
I added creme lace to the ro silk nagajuban with yanagi pattern (also Taisho), to enhance some of an older feel.
Not sure about the tabi, but white really looked weird!

The tabi work really wel with this outfit, at least that's what I think. And that komon... I'm still looking for a komon kimono or a yukata like that.
What a lovely combi maybe pink tabi would look nice.
Yes! Pink tabi should work too.
