Today my meisen purple roses in the snow.
With black hat, black gloves and black boots.
This is my first time with boots with kimono, it's weird!
But comfortable, and as the kimono is too small, a good idea!
The obi is white, for the roses and the snow!
I kept every thing simple, for the snow and because I like simple...
The fabric of this meisen is very thick and kind of "hard" I do not know the English word but we say "stug" it's not very giving and hard to fold and drape, as you can see in the back it looks a bit crumbled, but never mind, it looks informal and relaxed too ^_^

Beautiful!
We'd call that a "stiff" fabric :)
oh yes! Thank you! Pffff.... I knew that one, must be... no, I have no excuses.
Really pretty pictures and the combo is so nice. Be careful in the snow ^_^
Thank you both!
Oh yes,I am very careful, I am a big chicken, sooo scared!
You look so beautiful, and the outfit stands out so nicely against the snow.
I am tempted to do kitsuke in the snow too now! Maybe after the holidays when I have some free time.
Aaaah! I'm so happy to see this. I love boots with kimono. I have been seeing this a lot lately, especially with other western items like hats, western shirts under kimono, belts in place of obijime. Purists gasp, but it looks great to me. I hope this isn't a short lived fad. I think it's making kimono easier and more interesting for some which helps keep the kimono industry thrive and living?
a beautiful scenery, hope you kept it warm and a very nice combination.
Nice outfit. It seems to melt with the background and the same time the purple color catch the eye.
Love the boots, but I'd be scared to actually walk on ice and snow with high heels. It looks very cold, I am envious of the amount of snow you have!
Nice combination! Looks well with snow.
Oh this looks awesome! Makes me think of those taisho booklets! very, very nice!
As Ume Bloom said, kimono and boots was super fasionable ensemble for Taisho women. if you have hakama, it's perfect!
